Dr. Barry M. Adler, DVM         

Dr. Adler is a resident of Woodbridge Township and has lived and or worked here most of his life. He graduated Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science in 1972. He graduated from the Ohio State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977 and also received a Master of Science degree in reproductive physiology. In 1978, he and Dr. Ira Niedweske, a veterinary school classmate, opened the Iselin Veterinary Hospital. They then started the Woodbridge Veterinary Group in 1982. Dr. Adler has served as the secretary of the Metropolitan NJ Veterinary Medical Association, the president of the Central Jersey Veterinary Emergency Service and as co-chairman of the continuing education programs for the Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference. He presently serves on the Governor's Veterinary Medical Education Advisory Committee and is the past chairman of the legislative committee of the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Adler has received the Veterinarian of the Year award from the Metropolitan NJ Veterinary Medical Association and an Outstanding Service Award from the Freeholders of Essex County for the work done with the Turtle Back Zoo. Dr. Adler is past president of the NJVMA, and his interests include soft tissue & orthopedics, and avian medicine.

           Dr. Alexandra Adler, DVM        

Dr. Alex Adler joined Woodbridge Veterinary Group after graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in January 2014. She is a local from Colonia and received her B.A. in Chemistry from Skidmore College in 2010. Dr. Adler completed her clinical year at The Ohio State University and has returned to the Woodbridge area with her island dog, Kona and her cat, Nubbins. She is a member of the NJVMA (New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association) and her interests are in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery as well as ultrasound. Dr. Adler enjoys spending her free time at the beach, skiing, and fencing.

                  Dr. Gene Fink, VMD         

Dr. Gene Fink has been practicing at Woodbridge Veterinary Group for more than 20 years. He received his BS in Biology from Delaware Valley College in 1974 and his MS in Zoology from the University of Idaho in 1976. He graduated from veterinary school in 1983 from University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Fink has an interest in internal medicine. Dr. Fink is a long standing member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association (NJVMA) and the Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA). After work, Dr. Fink enjoys playing basketball and spending time with his family.

                           Dr. Samuel Adler, DVM     

Dr. Samuel Adler is a Colonia local and began at Woodbridge Veterinary Group after graduating from Virginia-Maryland Regional Veterinary College in May 2017. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biology at University of Maryland in May 2013. Dr. Adler is a member of the NJVMA (New Jersey Veterinary Medical Association) and the AAFV (American Association of Fish Veterinarians). His veterinary interests include surgery and behavior. Dr. Adler and his wife share their home with their dog, Ridley. Dr. Adler enjoys SCUBA diving, golfing, and stand-up paddleboarding.

Dr. Joseph Papetti, DVM         

Dr. Joseph Papetti was born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ. After graduating from St. Peter's College in Jersey City, NJ, he attended the University of Bologna Veterinary College and graduated in 1979. Dr. Papetti has been part of the Woodbridge Veterinary Group family since starting at Iselin Veterinary Hospital in 1980. After working at VCA Twin Rivers, Dr. Papetti returned to WVG in 2012. Dr. Papetti enjoys collecting books and spending time with his cat, Gray.
